A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) through your browser when you visit a website. Cookies are used to recognize you, remember your preferences, and keep the platform working properly.

By duration, cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period). By source, they are divided into first-party cookies placed by RaveHunt and third-party cookies placed by the providers we work with.

In this Policy, the term 'cookie' also covers the similar technologies described below.

The data controller responsible for the use of cookies is TripsTerra LLC, which operates the RaveHunt brand and platform (referred to here as 'RaveHunt' or the 'Company').

RaveHunt is an intermediary service provider offering a social network and ticketing service for music events. Events are created by organizers, and the seller of the tickets is the relevant organizer; RaveHunt acts as a marketplace and charges a service fee for the service it provides. We use cookies to deliver this service in a secure, uninterrupted, and personalized way.

The platform is intended only for users aged 18 and over. You can reach the service both from the ravehunt.com website and from the RaveHunt mobile app; the mobile app opens the same platform on your device, and this Policy applies to both channels.

a) Strictly Necessary Cookies: These are essential for the core functions of the platform and cannot be turned off. They are used for purposes such as signing in and maintaining your session (login), security and fraud prevention, remembering your language preference, completing the ticket purchase (checkout) flow, and ensuring invite/referral links work correctly. Without these cookies, you cannot sign in, purchase a ticket, see your ticket in your wallet, or view your QR ticket.

The correct calculation of the BPM loyalty points you earn on each login (which are in-app points, not money) and the protection of session integrity also rely on these strictly necessary cookies.

b) Functional Cookies: These make your experience easier by remembering your preferences (for example, language and display settings). If you disable them, some features may not work as expected.

c) We do NOT use analytics, advertising or targeting cookies. The platform carries no third-party analytics or advertising cookie, no tracking pixel and no advertising identifier; we do not link your data with third-party data for advertising and we do not share it with data brokers. In short, we do not track you.

If we ever decide to use analytics or marketing cookies, they will run only on a separate, explicit consent from you, and this policy and the in-app notice will be updated beforehand.

In addition to cookies, we may use other technologies with similar functions. These include your browser's local storage / session storage, pixel tags, and software development kits (SDKs).

These technologies may be used together with or instead of cookies for purposes such as keeping your session secure, quickly displaying your wallet and QR tickets on your device, carrying out operations such as the free transfer of a ticket, and storing your preferences.

Where these technologies are not strictly necessary, the same explicit-consent principles apply to them.

To provide certain services we work with third parties, and these parties may place their own cookies.

Sign in with Google: If you choose to sign in to your account with your Google account, Google may use its own cookies and technologies for authentication purposes.

Payments: Ticket payments are processed through our payment services provider, Stripe. At the payment step you enter your card details into the form served by Stripe, and Stripe places its own cookies for security and fraud-prevention purposes. These are not advertising or tracking cookies.

Maps and content: For features such as displaying event locations, cookies belonging to map and content service providers may be used.

Third parties' cookie practices are subject to their own privacy and cookie policies. RaveHunt is not responsible for these third parties' own cookie practices; we recommend that you review the relevant providers' policies.

Every cookie we use is strictly necessary or functional, so there is no cookie to switch off: that is why we offer no cookie preference panel with switches to turn cookies on and off. On your first visit to the website we show a short notice only, and ask you to mark that you have read it with the 'Got it' button. That button is not a consent record, it turns no cookie on or off, and all it does is stop us showing the notice again; inside the mobile app the notice does not appear at all.

The real control over cookies is in your browser: you can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. You can usually manage this via the 'Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies' menu.

Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, core functions such as signing in, purchasing a ticket, transferring a ticket to a friend free of charge, and accessing your wallet may not work.

Every cookie we use is strictly necessary or functional, and relies on the legal grounds of performance of a contract (purchasing a ticket and providing the service) and our legitimate interest in security. We currently use no cookie that depends on your explicit consent.

Personal data processed through cookies is protected under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). Details on how your data is processed are set out in the Privacy Policy and the KVKK Information Notice.

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to access it, to request its correction or deletion, and to withdraw the explicit consent you have given.

Note: Because event tickets are services tied to a specific date/period, they may fall within the exception to the right of withdrawal in distance contracts; this is regulated separately in the Preliminary Information and Cancellation/Refund terms and is independent of your cookie preferences.

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period depending on their purpose and legal retention periods, and disappear at the end of that period or when you delete them.

Cookie retention periods vary according to the type and function of the cookie, and cookies are not stored longer than necessary.

This Cookie Policy may be updated from time to time due to changes in legislation or updates to our services.

The current version is always published at ravehunt.com with its effective date indicated. In case of significant changes, we will inform you by appropriate means.
